Archive User-defined tables
Comments
-
We have created a few user-defined SQL tables in Decisions that, over time, can grow pretty large. Similar to how Decisions logging works, are there any recommendations that will allow us to roll off data to a backup version of the main table once the main table gets to be “x” size?

Hello
We recommend you to archive the tables using the server itself. We can follow the recommended steps mention here: https://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/an-automated-process-to-archive-big-tables#:~:text=Create a new table with,Verify the result. In this case, the only thing that we can do from the Decisions is transferring data from one DB to another. But, we would recommend doing this task also from the server itself.
