  • Hi,

    Every time the server or Decisions restarts, the debug level of logging gets enabled.

    If I disable it by right clicking on Logging (under System Tools) and disabling it then it does work, but whenever we have to restart the server it turns back on and fills the log with debug data. This hides any errors we were trying to find before.
    How can we get Debug to stay off?
    We are on v4 Update 10.

  • In your settings.xml file, can you check if the LogDebug setting is set to true or false? It appears that updating the server log level in the portal does not update the settings.xml file and with every service restart the log level will default back to what is set in the settings.xml file.

    Thanks for the quick reply. That seems to be it. It was still true in the xml even though it was disabled in the portal settings.
    Ive changed it to false now and that should be it. Unfortunately I cant do a restart to 100% confirm it but Im sure that is it.
    You can close the ticket now. If it didnt fix the problem then I can re-open it when we do restart. As it is the prod server I dont want to do it until the weekend at the earliest.
