Collapsing Hidden Form Fields

Collapsing Hidden Form Fields

Comments

  • Is there a way to collapse form fields that are hidden? Right now Ive figured out how to use visibility rules to hide/show form fields, but for certain fields I would like to not have lots of white space showing if the field is hidden.

  • Please see the provided documentation link that describes how to use Vertical/Horizontal stacks in the Form Editor to allow you to use visibility rules and reclaim empty space:

    http://documentation.decisions.com/making-space-reclaiming-forms-with-stack-panel/

Basically what happens with a stack is that a Form component slides up" to occupy the space of any entities above/beside it. The stack can then expand in the opposite direction if that component is now un-hidden.

Let me know if the document does not answer all of your questions."

  • Okay I will take a look at that, thank you!

  • Do you need any additional support in using our Form designer to hide/show Form components while respecting white space?

  • Nope, thank you for asking though!
