How to upgrade Kubernetes pods from v9.4 to v9.28
We are planning to upgrade our decisions installation from v9.4 to v9.28 Our installation is docker based and running in GCP GKE Kubernetes cluster. Anything that needs to be done for this upgrade? Can I upgrade both containers at the same time, or should I upgrade a pod one at a time?

Thank you for using the Decisions Forums!
You can upgrade from v9.4 directly to v9.28. There is no special order between these versions. However, there have been changes made in v9.17 and now the Decisions container will run by default as a non-root user. You will need to read our mitigation options in our Securing Decisions Container Environment documentation. Here is all our documentation pertaining to container/kubernetes upgrades.
Decisions Container

Version v9.17 Release Notes
https://documentation.decisions.com/v99/docs/version-917x-release-notes#infrastructure
Securing Decisions Container Environment (this doc will contain options to mitigate issues with the root user and non-root user change introduced in v9.17)

The best practice for upgrading a clustered instance is to turn off the pods then perform the upgrade on each pod one at a time.
