How to apply HTTPS cert to standard install?
I just made a post about using an HTTPS cert with my container. How should I apply a HTTPS cert to my standard install? Any help would be appreciated; I do not want to mess this up. Thanks

Thank you for using the Forums! I responded to your container ask, please review what I posted.
For your standard install question, it would be a similar procedure. You need to obtain a valid .pfx certificate file from a trusted vendor to start this process. Decisions Support cannot assist you with obtaining this certificate, this is the customer's responsibility.
If you already have the Decisions service installed, here is the process to apply the certificate. First, grab a backup of your settings.xml file. Next, place your .pfx certificate file somewhere in your file system (you can store it in the Decisions Server directory for simplicity). After that, open the Decisions installer. Then, select "Edit Settings" and make the following changes to the values.EnableHttps Set to True HttpsCertificatePassword Provide the applicable Password for the Certificate; if there is no Password, leave this blank. HttpsCertificatePath Provide the physical File Path for the certificate. HttpsPort Keep set to 443 PortalBaseUrl Change "http://" to "https://"
Once the changes are made, please restart your services. You should now have HTTPS implemented in your Decisions application. Here is a link to our Documentation that outlines how to apply a HTTPS cert for each install type.
