Controlling selectable options from "Add Column" on Report Viewer?

Hi Community.

I have a report viewer on a page with the "Can Manage Columns" enabled. This allows end-users to dynamically add new columns to the report viewer.

I have three questions:

  • How can I control/limit the list of columns the end-user can choose from?
  • Is there a way to multiselect columns to add instead of having to add them one-by-one?
  • How can I disable the ability to add Calculated Columns?


Any pointers or hints of alternative solutions is greatly appreciated!

    Here are the details of your query:

    1. How can I control/limit the list of columns the end-user can choose from?

    Currently, there is no option to limit the list of columns available for selection.

    2. Is there a way to multiselect columns to add instead of having to add them one by one?

    At this time, columns can only be added individually. There is no option to select multiple columns at once.

    3. How can I disable the ability to add Calculated Columns?

    Currently, there is no option to enable or disable the use of Calculated Columns.
