Execute the flow instances from REST API

I am able to initiate a process flow using REST API call, following - Calling a Flow as a REST Service - Starting with Integrations

But, once the flow is created, I want to view and act on the folder created in a user's inbox. How can I do that, is flowTrackingID has any use on the approach?
