Insurance Claim FAQ's
What is a "Client ID?" Client ID is an identifier that comes in with requests through postman (or entered in the debugger) to identify which set of rules are run. You can think of this as "types of insurance" or "tiers of insurance." Different types and tiers have different rules associated with them.
How do I map the Client ID into the Rule Set to get the different rules (where do I get the rule set id for the truth table)? Until you make the ruleset you should just leave the truth table empty. Once the rule set is made you can right click the client rule sets to get their rule set id:
You can then use that to populate the truth table:
(those rule set ID's are unique to each instance so copying them from this screenshot will not work)
Ensure the truth table is set to "first match only" under Advanced:
You can then map the output of the truthtable into the "Rule Flow Set ID"
How do I use Postman? You can install postman here.
Once postman is installed you can get the URL information for the flow from the top right corner of the flow designer here:
Once clicking view you can choose options for "Setup:" We used a named session here:
In Postman: Set to post, click body. You will then paste the formatting on the right into postman body and fill out all the fields (stringvalue, date, etc) and send the request to decisions:
