How to load previously created Case entity for an evaluation use case

Hello Decisions,

I'm currently looking for a way to get my use case to work but I'm having trouble.

We have case entities that are being used as evaluations, we want the ability to be able to open an evaluation, close it, and come back to it later. Ideally with having all previously entered data into the evaluation be preserved. Do you have an accelerator or something similar to handle this?
