Guidance on Upgrading from Decisions 8.15.0.72514 to the Latest Version
We would like to upgrade our Decisions version to stay current with the latest releases. We are currently using Decisions version 8.15.0.72514.
Could you please advise on the best upgrade pathway? Should we upgrade incrementally through each version, or can we directly upgrade to the latest version (9.1)?

By upgrading directly to V9.1, we do not anticipate any major issues. However, I would like to highlight a few key changes and additions in V9 compared to V8:
- New Features: Please refer to the Version 9 Features documentation to review the new functionalities introduced in V9.
- Breaking Changes: It is essential to review the breaking changes in version 9.x. Detailed information is available in the Decisions documentation on breaking changes.
- Upgrade Pattern: We recommend first upgrading your lower environment (e.g., Dev or Test). After upgrading to V9.1, verify that all project functionalities are working correctly. If no breaking changes are encountered, you can then proceed with upgrading your Prod instance.
- Backup: It is crucial to take the necessary backup as outlined in the backup section of the Upgrading Decisions (v8 to v9) documentation. Please note that there is no rollback option for the same database once upgraded to V9.
