Multiple Stand-Alone Servers With One Database For HA
Is it possible to configure two servers connected to the same database without shared file storage or clustering enabled while still maintaining high availability?

It is not recommended to avoid using a shared file storage location for a Decisions cluster, as this configuration is unsupported. Without shared file storage, you may encounter peer cache and synchronization issues. In clustered environments, shared file storage is crucial for verifying the availability of other servers in the cluster to receive HTTP peer cache update messages and other events by performing connected file checks. File storage also manages certain objects and flow data for caching. Proper synchronization requires clustering to be enabled.
