Connect New Repository

I have just installed a new Decisions instance of the repository. What is the process to get the data from my old repository to the new one?

Seeing that the repository is already installed, you will need to point the new repository to the database of the previous repository. First, take a backup of the previous database of the previous repository and import this into the new host machine.

Once complete run the Decisions installer, choosing Change Settings on Update = TRUE. Click through each window until Database Setup. Here, you will choose the appropriate Database Type. Depending upon the database type, you will also need to update the DB Server, DB Database, and possibly the DB Port if PostgreSQL. Finally, add in the user credentials necessary for authentication.
