Using AD Modules With SSO Enabled

I currently am using an AD Sync Job as well as the AD Module Steps to fetch account and group information from our AD server. We plan to migrate over to SSO in the near future. I understand we cannot use SSO with the AD Sync job, but do the AD Module Steps still work?

The Active Directory Module steps query the AD server directly and do not require and AD Sync to fetch the data directly from the AD server. Therefore, the Active Directory steps are still useable for fetching information when SSO is configured.
