Mass migration of content from one instance to another

 I was hoping to hear advice or best practice recommendation about a mass migration of content from one Decisions instance to another (all folders, projects, flows and other custom items).

I know that the export/import function can be used to move individual folders and items on one-by-one basis, but perhaps there is a more efficient way how to migrate entire content of one instance to another in one go? Can we do something on sql back end level?

Import/Export would be the basic way to transfer over Decisions objects between environments via project. To move everything over, you can take a database backup for your environment and use the backup of the database as the database for the new environment. We would also recommend taking a backup of your Settings.xml, the FileStorage directory, and the keys.dat file. If IIS hosted, take note of any custom IIS settings as well.
