how to globally stop Decisions sending emails?

A lot of people are getting sent emails when they are given assignments. Is there a method of globally changing this default behavior, or else just turning emails off altogether platform wide?

We can control assignment notifications by navigating to System > Administration > Notifications > Default Notifications. There are different types of notifications listed there for assignments. We can uncheck Email as the Notification mode from here for these different Notification settings which should prevent assignments from sending emails based off reassignments, etc.
