First, you will want to verify in the settings.xml that <UseTimeZoneTranslation> is set to True. If it is not already set to True, you will need to schedule a brief downtime period for the environment so that it can be restarted.
Additionally, each user will need to have time zones set on their account otherwise they will continue to see the time zone the server is set to.
