Can I "Reuse" an Agent in More than One Server?

Greetings,

I currently have a Decisions agent set-up, and it is running fine. I've installed it on a different server with no issues. However, I would like to use the same agent installer to install the same agent on a second server as well. The agent would be performing the same job as the first agent, so would this be an issue to have two installations of the same agent on two different servers?

Hello! 

We would not recommend doing this. The Decisions agent gets its identity from the server's IP where it is installed. Installing the same Decisions agent on two separate servers could have unintended results when the agent tries to verify its identity.

We would recommend creating a second Agent in Decisions and installing it to the second server, as described in our documentation below:
