Users not having permission to use "Add User to Groups" step

I have a system set up that assigns users permissions based on their email address when they log in. When the users are trying to log in the are getting the message that they do not have the permission to use the "Add User to Groups" step. I have removed and re-assigned the permissions on the folders containing this flow. But this refuses to work. Please let me know how can I fix this?

  • I understand that you are having the "Add User to Groups" step in a flow. and when the flow is triggered from the Workflow Catalog it is giving an error like “user does not have the permission”.

    This usually happens when in the "Add User to Groups" step configuration, in Security Context → Context Type is selected as “Current user” instead of “System”.

    I would suggest to kindly check it once and changing the Context Type to “System”. This will resolve the issue.
