Key Rotation
Hi, I understand that we can use the Key Rotation options in decisions to periodically change the keys that was used to encrypt the data. May I know what is the step to do this? Do we need to do anything on our side such as creating a flow? Or we just need to click the "Start Data Upgrade to Support Encryption" button and it will do the necessary key update?
Also, I am also interested to know is if the key rotation failed, will it have any impact on the data structure that is currently using the old key?

Hi,
There is no specific step to achieve the key rotation. You can select the "Start Data Upgrade to Support Encryption" to initialize the process. Please note that data cannot be encrypted until the process completes. Please find the documentation related to key rotationhttps://documentation.decisions.com/docs/encryption-key-rotation
Also, Yes, It might leave the encrypted data corrupted / Inaccessible. To know what will not be affected / unchanged and what will happen to the data that is not updated / decrypted during the process, you can refer to the below documentation https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/encryption-key-rotation
Please let us know if you have further queries regarding the same.
