Mapping input from input to next node
Comments

Hi -
I am in trial mode. Trying a basic flow.1) So I got a basic flow with 5 input values. (Humidity Sensor, pressure sensor, temperature sensor).
2) Now I added a rule to the flow.
3) But I do not see the inputs in the Rule node.
4) I cannot find a way to map the input from the start node to the rule node. Not able to find the mapping feature.
Please see attachment for screenshots. -
Hello Naseem. When you create the rule in Decisions, you will need to add the inputs into the rule as well as the flow (Decisions doesnt realize you want to use the flow inputs for the rule until you tell it). So, in your third screen shot (of the rule) you can click on Show Editor in the properties tab. Create these inputs for the rule, then in your flow, they will automatically map from the flow to the rule if you name them the exactly the same. When you have a lot of input items, it is helpful to create datatypes, so you can add just one item as an input, but it would have many properties (for instance the 5 you have in your flow).
