Advanced data grid and using a parameter query
Comments

I am using Decisions version 6.9.1.64641.
Is it possible to use an advanced data grid with a parameter query where I get my inputs for the data from a form? I currently use a plain data grid this and it works well, but the look and feel of the advanced data grid is just better and easier to manage.

An Advanced Data Grid can be populated by a Data Flow in the same manner as a normal Data Grid. The primary difference is using the Report Designer to configure the Advanced Data Grid. For query definition types, if they are for a native or user-defined type within Decisions and contain the primary key field of the type, the action context of the report for the Advanced Data Grid can be overridden to be those of the target type. I have created a small demo project using an Advanced Data Grid that is populated by a Data Flow which takes an input from elsewhere on the form. Feel free to import, review, or modify it at your convenience.
