Archiving Data to Secondary DB

Is there a best practice for removing data from folders to a secondary database or storage, a way that its still searchable and still able to be viewed and queried but isnt taking up space on the primary storage device?

Hey there,
Below is our best practice for migrating data to a secondary DB:
- Setup a secondary Database,
- integrate that database with your primary server,
- create External Entities that match the datatypes youre interested in migrating off
A good solution to have identical tables would be to recreate existing data types as External Entities.
External Entities will allow you to recreate and setup identical tables. Then you will be able to save the data existing in those tables to the external entity. These external entities will produce user defined steps (Save, Get All, Delete, ect.), these will require some flow configuration to use them. Heres an overview on external entities:
