Moving directory contents to new file share
Moving directory contents to new file share

NAS has been causing issues for the clusters. On one of the clusters, I have retargeted to a file share. This helped performance improve on all nodes. Is it necessary to move the previous directorys contents to the new file share?

Yes, when you have moved the File Storage location, you should move the contents of the old File Storage directory into the new one to prevent any unexpected/undesired behavior.

While retargeting to a new file share can improve tiny fishing performance, its important to properly migrate all data to the new location to ensure that it is accessible and available for use.
