Make a data grid match the style of a report?

I have a form with a data grid which works fine, but I would like the data grid to match the style of a normal report. For example, the header row of the data grid is currently grey, but I want it to be blue similar to what youd find when viewing a report. Is there any way to do this?

Yes! You can do this one of two ways. Either you can use custom CSS to change the style of the data grid to match that of the report, or you can use an advanced data grid instead of a normal data grid.

In order to add custom CSS, navigate to System -> Designers -> CSS -> Add -> Document, then upload the custom CSS file. Ive attached an example CSS file to this post you can use.

Then, in the form youre using the data grid in, enable the new style you just defined under Properties (Of the form itself, not the data grid) -> Style

Alternatively, an easier solution would be to use an advanced data grid instead of a data grid. The advanced data grid form control can be found in the data section of the form designer toolbox. This will give you the option to create a data grid with similar flexibility to a normal report.
