Moving Flows Form 'Message Queue Handler' folder

Moving Flows Form 'Message Queue Handler' folder

Comments

  • Hello!
I created a regular flow in the Message Queue Handler folder. When I try to move it to a designer Folder, I get the following error:
Cannot move FlowName from folder of type MessageHandlerFolderBehavior to DesignerProjectFolder

Is there a way to move my Flow to a designer Folder?

  • The Message Queue Handler Folder has a unique functionality that Designer Flows do not. The Flow created in this folder has a flow behavior set to “Message Queue handle Flow”. That is why we are getting that error message. We cannot move the Flow out, without causing other issues.

Creating a new Flow would be required. However, to save time recreating the logic, we can create a template of the existing flow steps and paste it into the new Flow.

Below I have listed detailed steps.

[ul][li]In the Flow, Group all the steps together and save as a template.[/li][li]Create a new flow in a designer folder.[/li][li]Navigate to the Step tab>templates and grab the template we created in the previous step.[/li][li]Save the Flow.[/li][li]Delete the Flow in the Message Queue Handlers Folder[/li][/ul]

    Creating a Template:

Adding the Template to new Flow
