Integrating to API within network
Comments

Hello,
We are trying to connect to an API call that is behind a firewall and within our company’s network but are receiving an error. This is somewhat expected as our Decisions instance is cloud-hosted.
To connect to an external DB, we used an agent. Is there a way for Decisions to integrate with a Rest API within the companies network? Is there any sort of configuration needed on our end?

If your company has a VPN, we could connect the VM running your instance to it. Or alternatively, if we exchange the network details for both the VM and the API service, we could add firewall rules to explicitly allow communications to the APIs server, but the server hosting that API service would have to have new rules added to its firewall to allow communications from your Decisions server.
