Resetting System Defaults

Hello,
I was wondering if there is an easy/recommended way to reset system defaults short of a DB restore? As we dig deeper into the system wide controls we are finding it a little difficult to know exactly what needs to be backed up and in some cases what dependencies and settings may be affected by a particular change. We are keen to experiment, but we want to make sure we are doing it in a controlled trackable way. Any suggestions or best practices would be appreciated.

Hi,
The best way to approach making changes to a System Default: make a checkpoint, then make a copy of the Default Designer Entity (flow, rule, etc.), make your changes to the copy, and include the copy in a project. This will ensure that you have the original version and can revert back if/ when necessary.
