Upload a null value to a number field

Hi,

Currently, when uploading a file and the column is mapped in a number field, and the field value is null, the upload will end in error. Please see below error message being encountered

Is there a way so that when uploading a null value from an excel, it will be defaulted to 0?

Hello Ezra,

Thank you for your question and thank you for sharing your screenshot.

Yes, it is possible to map a null value to an object value.

Go to your CSV to Object Mapping step and click on Show Item Mapping Editor.

In there, when mapping the input, open the appropiate Field drop-down menu and then select NumberValueOrNull or you can select a subcategory under it.

Lastly, yes, it should be defaulted to 0 if its null and its a number type when using this mapping option.
