Creating a Word Document from flow

Creating a Word Document from flow

Comments

  • Hi,

We have a need to be able to gather information/approvals via a set of forms/flows and need to be able to output all of the information gathered during the flow to generate a Word Document at the end that can be physically signed.

I looked into the TextMerge feature, but this does not seem to behave the way I thought it would.

Ideally I would like the flow to generate a word document and email it to a specific email address so that those documents can be processed appropriately.

    Thanks

You should be able to use the MS Word mail merge template with Replace Text in Word Document step. Please check the attached project. You can create a similar flow and add your Tokens on the template MS Word document and then map flow data into these Tokens. The Replace Text in Word Document step will create a word file output including your inputs. You can add a send email step at the end of your flow to send word or pdf outputs as an email attachment. If you have any questions please let me know.
