Declare Dependencies

Is there a way that, for a flow that is called RESTfully by an external app, to add a "declared" dependency to annotate this? Or a better way to indicate that the flow is used (not orphaned)?

We can use Tags to indicate that the Flow is being used. For instance we can add a tag that would say "Rest Flow".
-To add tags to a flow right-click the flow>Add>Setup>Managed Tags

-This will open a window. We can add existing tags or type a new tag in the text box.
-Users will be asked if they want to "Create a new tag" if the tag they input does not exist already.

-Once we are done the tag will be applied to the Flow.

This will indicate to users that this Flow is being used.If this is not what you were looking for can we please get more clarification on the use case.

Hi Faiza,\r\n\r\nI was looking for something to show up in the dependency browser to make it painfully obvious that the flow is not orphaned. I saw that you can declare a \"Comment Dependency\

Hello Jeff!
The Dependency Browser only shows the relationship between steps. I will put in a feature request for Dependency browsers to show the relationship between steps and API calls.
As a workaround, we can create a placeholder flow, naming it the external service that is calling the "RESTfully" flow.

RestFully Flow will be added in as a sub-flow.
This will show that the RestFully Flow is being used by something.

Thanks, but I dont know how you could add that as a feature - Theres no way that Decisions could know about what external apps are calling it.
But what is the comment dependency?
Your temporary solution is very clever though!

Hi Jeff,
If we were to put in a feature request, it would notify our developers and they would be able to look to see if we have a way to display the relationship with an external system in the Browser dependencies.
Also, I wanted to confirm that you declared the "comment dependency" by right-clicking the flow>Dependencies>declared>Add Comment dependency. If so, did you add a comment that was part of the current project. If this was not the method you used, can you provide information on how use added the comment dependency? Thank you. -

I couldnt figure out how to add a comment or a comment dependency.
