  • What could cause this behavior to occur? How can I resolve/ avoid this in the future?

  • This occurs when a default language is set in portal or for an account. The asterisks denote words that dont have specified translation in the selected language library. To resolve this issue you would need to remove Language settings in Portal settings (System> Settings> Portal Settings) or Account settings (System>Security>Accounts).

  • To remove the double asterisk symbol, please follow these steps on the account where you’re seeing the issue:

    1. Log in to the account.
    2. Navigate to System → Security → Accounts.
    3. Select the account and click Edit Account.
    4. Search for Language Settings. If the language is set to "Test Language," clear it and save the changes.
    5. Refresh the tab, and the asterisks should disappear.
