Question about Installation with MS SQL Server

Hello,
I assume that this is allowed, but I wanted to be sure before we go down a path that will not work for us.We are in the process of migrating some of our old servers to new ones with updated operating systems. As part of this process, we are looking at consolidating some servers and segregating SQL database servers from web app servers.
So, my question is, does the Decisions software allow for having the database reside on a different server than the software installation? Also, on a related note, is it okay to have additional databases running on the same SQL Server instance as is used by the Decisions software?
Thank you.

Hello,
We PREFER to have SQL and Decisions on two different servers. This is because both make use of in memory caching.
No problem running it in a shared SQL cluster or SQL server environment.
Thank you.
Howdy, Stranger!
