Hi,

I am trying to decode and read the contents of a InstallerSetup.xml file that we are hoping to use for Silent Installation. However, I haven’t been able to decode the file using any online tools I can find.

Is it possible to decode these files?

Hey,

It is possible to decode these files. You will need to use the Decisions Installer to do so. Under the ‘Review Install Options’ section, select the [i]Save Install Settings To File [/i]checkbox. After you save the file, uncheck the [i]Encrypted Settings File[/i] checkbox to decode this file. This should save the file in plain text.
