Compress Images

We have a flow that takes in an image and saves it as part of the Data Structure. As this has grown the size of the DB table has grown, thus slowing all of the Fetch steps down. Is there an internal feature or step i can use to compress these images?

Hello!
Typically we recommend against storing files in the Decisions database, even compressed. As you mentioned, the table size expands quickly and tanks performance, even with compression.
Using a file system or external storage service (such as Amazon S3) is a better alternative for storing files themselves. Using a File Reference type can mitigate the performance issues by storing the image in a file system, and only having the file reference location stored on the database table.
