We have AD setup on a cluster but we are having an issue on one of the servers. After signing into AD the sign in sometimes goes forward like normal but other times it just sits and loads and loads until we get an error reading: "The site cannot be reached". Has anyone seen something like this before?

Hey,
It actually works great for us that you have a working server. Could you take a look at the settings.xml file for both of the servers and compare them? Are there any differences? Could you make sure to check the ForceBaseURI entry? Sometimes when youre breezing through configuration something is mistyped and double checking might just get it resolved.
