Duplicate Copy of a Project / Application

Comments

  • Hi,

I need some assistance with creating a duplicate copy of a project/application. I located the export documentation at https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/exporting-and-importing-overview
and followed those instructions. It did not ask me anything about a download location, or provide a zip file in any location that I can find. Our installation is hosted at Decisions.

Please let me know what my options are to create a duplicate copy of an application within the same environment. they will have different underlying source databases, and different permissions.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

You can create a copy of a project in the same environment by navigating to the project designer folder and right click select Copy Designer Folder. This will open a popup window. You can rename your copy project and select a path in the folder tree.
