  • How do I compare values within a report? Based on what is contained within I want to process the document differently.

  • You can compare values within a report by first generating a report data type. To do this open a report and on the properties window navigate to "Report Access" and then check the box "Generate Step To Run Report" and under "Generate Type Name" write the name that you want this data type to be called.

    Now open the flow where your report is being used. On your "Run Report" step under "Output Settings" change the "Return Data Option." Next under "Output Type" choose the name of the report data type that you created in the report designer. Once this is done in "Data Explorer" you will be able to select and use evaluative expressions on values within the report.
