USPS Address Verification Service

Hi,
I’m new to Decisions and working on a simple form that can cleanse an address. I’ve registered with U. S. Postal Services Web Tools and installed the Decisions USPS feature.
Do you have a how to document on setting up the USPS Address Verification API integration?
Thanks.

Hi,
Please follow the below steps to use USPS module in Decisions.
- Install USPS Module by navigating System > Administration > Features. Once you complete installation you have to restart Service Host Manager.

- After restart go to System > Settings and find USPS Settings. You have to enter your USPS User ID here. In order to get an ID please visit https://www.usps.com/business/web-tools-apis/welcome.htm. Once you complete registration your ID will be sent to you by email.

- After entering User ID into settings you should be able to see additional USPS related steps in your Decisions designer studio. Go to steps tab and under the Integration menu find USPS.

- Now you can use Normalize Address step to clean any address according to USPS server records.
