Import Excel Or CSV Step Column Problem
Comments
-
For my flow, I needed to use the Import Excel or CSV step. I created my data and mapped out my columns. Later, I needed to add an extra column for new data in the excel sheet. When I went to add this column in the step, all of my mappings got wiped!
What can I do about this?

What is probably occurring is the step is trying to read and update the input while you complete the step.
I suggest highlighting and replacing the number of columns on an Import Excel or CSV step (instead of deleting a single number and replacing it). This prevents the step from registering a smaller number of columns and removing existing mappings.

For Example: say you have an Import Excel or CSV step in your flow with a column number of 115. If you are looking to replace this number to 116, highlight the whole number, then enter 116.For more info: https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/loading-an-excel-file-into-a-flow
