Tabs and Data Grids

Im creating a form with multiple tabs, Each tab pulls a query from my database based on one stat. Currently, I have query set up in he database for each tab. This doesnt seem like the most efficient method. What I think I want to do is pull all records from the table, then only display the records with the correct status type from the grid. Can you help me with this?
