Hash string with SHA256 step
Hash string with SHA256 step

Hi support,
We are trying to use Hash String With SHA256 step, but having some problems implementing it. The standard implementation of SHA256 expects that the string to be hashed should be converted to UTF 8 bytes, then converted to hex or base 64.
Could you please provide information on how this works?
Thanks

Hello,
We are using an encoding for the UTF-16 format using the little-endian byte order.
You can find the Function that is being used here - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.text.encoding.unicode?view=netframework-4.7.2
The output is encoded using base 64.
Howdy, Stranger!
