HA & Cluster

We are in the process of designing our configurations for a new Decisions environment. Wed like to go with the option of HA clustering with a load balancer. My question is can we spin up lets say 4 individual virtual Windows decisions app servers behind a load balancer (cookie stickiness config) and configure the Decisions software to be high availability without the need to configure the 4 servers in a Microsoft Cluster services environment? In this case the Decision software will keep and manage between the 4 independent app servers the client sessions should one server go offline?

Yes - you can use us in a cluster behind a properly configured load balancer without Windows Fail over Cluster Server.
Its important that the cluster nodes can communicate with each other.
