Popup Message For First Time Users
I would like an introductory message to display on screen for first time users. I only want it to show the first time they login. Is there a way to set this up in Decisions?

The best way to accomplish this goal would be to use a Login User UI Flow. Login User UI Flow Behavior
This will allow you to both display your desired message and choose a home page for users to navigate to. You can customize the flow logic and evaluate what users see the introductory message anyway you want, but I have provided an example project that Fetches from the account table and compares FirstLoginDate for the account to the current date time to see if those times are within one minute of each other. If they are, it will both display an introductory message and navigate the user to their Inbox folder. If this is not a first time login it will simply navigate them to their inbox.
A few important notes with setting up one of these flows.
- All users must have at least CanUse permission on this flow. I have set the whole example project for All Users group to have CanUse for this purpose.
- If you do not Navigate the user somewhere with an End Form Session step they will go to a blank page and have to click a popup to get to the portal. So make sure all logical paths navigate to somewhere. End Form Session Step
Please review the logic of Login User UI Flow 1 and set it in the Portal Settings if you want to do a test run with it.0
