Assignment Emails

Im trying to send out e-mails when a user gets an assignment. I currently have an "On Step Run" method in place and Im wondering if thats the best method? Any other way for this to be accomplished? Id need to reference a user in the main flow as the recipient.

There is a native feature in Decisions for assignments/tasks. This will be located in properties of the assigned form. There is a section called "Email" which contains the settings in which you can use the default email notification, remove it, or make a completely custom message for the assignment!
