Hey,

For some of us the page selector is missing on my tasks page
for instance some have:

is there something in the settings I can change?

Can you confirm all of them have same number of Assignments present on their My Tasks page?
If the Total number of Assignments are few, the paging bar will not be shown to them.

The setting for this is in Current Assignment report.
Edit the Current Assignment report and expand the Result section -> Rows per page.
