How to utilize different Branches in Repo

I wanted to get clarification on how to utilize different branches to allow multiple developers to work in a project simultaneously. We tried establishing a second branch in our dev environment thru the Repo, but when we bring it back down to work in, it appears to still be the live version other developers would be working in.

To effectively use branches and allow multiple developers to work simultaneously, please follow these steps:

1. Creating a Branch: Navigate to the Designer Repository, select your Project Folder, and click CREATE BRANCH. After naming your branch, refresh your browser to see it. Please note that when you create a branch for the first time, you will only see "Trunk" as the option in From Branch. However, after that, you'll see both "Trunk" and any other branches you have created.

2. Working in the Branch: Ensure all developers switch to the new branch before making changes. They should check it out in their local environment.

3. Merging Changes: Once development is complete, Check in changes to the repo and use Merge to Branch to merge changes back into the main branch. Right-click the branch, select the destination, and choose your merge options.

4. Confirming Merges: After merging, check the Branch Summary dashboard for a new revision indicating the merge.
