Does SYSTEM Account need to be in Administrators?
The SYSTEM account is the account that runs back-end processes making it necessary for all system operations. This account, by default, is a part of the Administrators group enabling it to properly execute the essential processes as designed. This, therefore means that the SYSTEM account should not be removed from the Administrators group because by doing so the account may fail to function as intended.
