Ability to Use Button to Navigate Tabs in Container

How can I navigate container tabs in a form by just using a button? For example, a button on tab 1 will open tab 2.
There is no way to navigate container tabs by using a button in the tab container. The native function to navigate the tabs is by selecting the desired tab from the top of the container. There is the functionality to use buttons to alter the visibility of a tab, however the ability to actually change tabs via a button does not exist .
