S3 File Upload Behavior

Our team has virus protection installed and mounted to the Decisions file system. We are hoping that Decisions stores files uploaded to S3 in its own file system at some point during the process of uploading a file to S3. Is this assumption true?

Decisions does store the FileData or FileReferences used in any flow to File Storage, unless the flow setting File Storage Association is set to Never. By default, files associated with the flow will be saved to File Storage.
