Saving to Process Folder the First Form

Saving to Process Folder the First Form

Comments

  • Hi,

I have the following issue when saving the first form submission to the Process Folder. The first form is “In Session” and subsequent forms are “Assigned”. The assigned forms are being saved correctly except the first form. I was able to work around this by setting up the process folder before the first form is submitted but this causes an issue that that the process folder is created even if the user exits the form without submitting. Please let me know if there is a better solution for this and if it can be escalated as we are almost at the stage of validating the system.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

When you say saving the first form, do you mean that you would like to save the first forms outputs to the Process Folders Extension Data?
If so, you can set the Setup Process Folder steps Extension Data to Build Data" and map the initial forms output values to the respective Extension Data items. Ive added a couple of screenshots to serve as examples.
If this is not what you are looking for

  • Hi,
I’ve already setup the process folder step Extension Data to “Build Data” but it is still not being saved. I’ve a flow which displays an “In Session” form first. When the user fills out the form and submits it, the form is not being saved to the Process Folder. That same form is then “Assigned” to other users where they complete the form and submit it again. The first form submission is not being saved. Forms afterwards are being saved to the Process folder where I can click the “View Completed” and see the snapshot.

  • Hi,
In order to save the Form Data in the Process Folder, you will need to Setup the process folder before the first form (and set this form as an assignment). However, you can turn off the Email Notifications and set the Automatically Show If Assigned" setting (under Display Options) to Always in order to have it pop up like an In Session Form.
